July 2005 we have made a glacier tour in the Ortler region, starting and finishing in Val Martello, on the way passing traces of World War I, in which the Italians and Austrians were shooting at each other from the summits. We climbed the summits of Palon de la Mare, Monte Vioz, Monte Cevedale and the Cima Cevedale (Zufallspitze).
